And here she is......

Micalee Mei (Na Cha)
We cannot believe we are actually looking at pictures of our little girl! We're not sure when these were taken (forgot to ask when we got the call, and not sure if they knew anyway!). We are so excited & still shaking! We should have our original referral documents hopefully tomorrow. Her history is being translated & should be coming by email next week! She looks like she's a little sad, like she's waiting for her mommy & daddy to come get her! Hopefully, it won't be too long!

Hi, she is gorgeous! I am a fellow RQ-er ("hotmama") -- and our daughter is also from Fuzhou SWI in Jianxi!! She is 10 mo old (July 17), but we do not have pics yet. Our agency said that, as with your daughter, there are 3 pictures, one in a red car, one bouncy seat, and one "passport" style!!! Your pics gave me a wonderful preview! We are in the Midwest.

Congratulations!!! She is beautiful and I can't wait for her to be in your arms.

Our daughter is from Jianxi but a different orphanage. She was 19 months old when we brought her home. I am still upset that she had to be in the orphanage so long. I did not/do not understand why some babies are papered at 6 months and others have such long waits. The transfer from her orphanage to our arms was so very scary for her too. She bonded immediately with her father and one look from me was enough to send her into an incredible fit of anger. Please read the RQ's recommended book on "Toddler Adoptions" I found it very helpful. Also, at 19 months she weighed 16 poounds and wore a size 6 months so be prepared with very different size clothing. Our daughter is very lovely, her smile just brightens the whole world right up. If you are not angry about her age I am very very happy for you but if you find her age a disappointment and saddening to you I just want you to know that you are not alone with your feelings. God bless you and God speed in bringing this beautiful new little girl home to her parents.

To Jennifer's comment: Angry? I know Linda and David and they would be overjoyed if this beautiful girl came to them at the age of 4. I also know they are aware that there may be challenges, just as there are with every child brought into the world no matter how they got here. Every child is different, in temperament, spirit, and needs. That's what makes being a parent so rewarding. I believe they are destined for these rewards....go get her and bring home, guys!!!!
